Sol C

ok about a week ago i asked in ooc if anyone knew if sol c was in the game. no one knew not even jericho so i figured id look for it and what you know. Loading please wait.

The name of the zone is Caverns of Exile and today i took 3 people in there myself and 2 guildys + my bot. We started off killing to the lvl 70 raid enchounter guy (which can spawn a OoW chest according to alla). So we got to Culthor the Gatekeeper and died on the first attempt. Buffed up and went back in ran back to his area and formed a plan of letting my bot tank while they pop aa/disc to dmg him down. When we killed him he droped nothing but 2 leggings with about 100 hp and 10 to all stats. We also went to 2 other bosses a big spider and Morphous but i wont go into detail on those.

Now for the bugs. There are ALOT of mobs in this zone that dont attack or are dub con and can kill in 1 - 2 hits for good exp which brings me to my other point At the rate we were killing our AA exp was going up in a insane amout but thats prob due to the fact this zone isent up to par with the rest of the server and every mob is 1-2 hit ko able. I should of taken a screen of the aa i had when i started to the aa i had when i left but i dident even think about it till a guild mate said something then i check. We were in there for about 15 mins total and i had prob gotten a good 13 aa or so.

Also the lvl 70 raid target dident drop a oow chest, maybe its random or maybe its a EQemulator thing but we had fun and found some bugs. I told jericho about this and he locked the zone and had to kick a guildmate out cuz he dident wanna leave becuz of the aa's.

Posted some pics here http://s825.photobucket.com/home/Veridian_2010/index let me know what you think..

P.S this would be a great Alt P zone.

Wel this zone was really really REALLY underconned all but the lvl 70 raid encounter. I hope striat or jericho can fix the toughness of the trash mobs cuz you can 1 -2 hit them for easy exp and i was in a 3 person team + bot getting great aa....... if i was there solo.......

Most likely it's not going to get fixed for a good while. We have far, far too much to do, and not enough time to do it as it is. Adding another zone revamp to the plate just because it was found to be underpowered is something that is out of the question right now.

I could run a quick sql command to bring up hps and dps of mobs in the zone inline to what it should be at its level, but... You will still have the old loot, which won't worth the difficulty> So unless zone it completely rewamped, there isn't much point.

I was actually planning to do this to some non-custom zones. We'll discuss it at the dev forum.
