SK pet question

Post#1 » Wed May 05, 2010 12:53 am

Are SKs supposed to have Emissary of Thule at lvl67? If so, he is stronger than the lvl68 SK pet Son of Decay.

Not sure whether him having that pet was intended though.

yes we recently gave Sk better pets, so Sk most power pet is actually necros lev 61 pet, so you can ignore his old sk pet.

Shouldn't the old SK pet be removed to avoid new player's confusion? (Including myself there :D)

I thought of that, to make it non scribe-able, but it will still be sitting in the spell books of all the people who already have it, unable to remove it, and I am not sure how to purge character spell books of specific spell - maybe Tyler knows? =)

It is auto-purged if you remove the Class from the Spell afaik.
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed

I've never seen EQEmu DB, but in some wow emu I did an sql query that would delete certain spell from all chars. That should be possible here too.

its stored somewhere in char blob, and is beyond my sql skills to access/edit it =P

Also from my experience, if a spell already scribed becomes non usable by player- it just becomes STUCK in your spell book, and atempt to click on it or remove causes UI lock up =P So be warned =)
