City of Mist yard trash loot, or the lack thereof....

I noticed, this morning, on my first jaunt to CoM with my wiz/ench combo, that the mobs drop no loot. No coin, no gems, not even rusty weapons. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Is this intentional? I asked in the /ooc channel if the zone was itemized, and I was told that it is itemized and that the named mobs drop very nice loot. Well, that's all nice and shiny, but what about items for those of us too wussy to pick on any named mobs as of yet? The risk vs. reward in this zone is heavily skewed towards lots of risk, but no rewards, especially if the roaming warbone skellies catch you unawares.

I'm not asking for items like Defiant armor that is on Live, but the occasional gem would be nice.

I honestly think that they should drop elemental gear, as crushbone drops ornate. That way it'll gear people who're only able to solo for use of a bad PC, to gear up to kill the named. I know the named are a pain there, and think that it'll be a good chance for people to get better gear when the server is low of people.

tiril you can level 1 to 70 on this server with no problem with a bot. also if you put elemental armor in a zone that has quested armor(Chaotic) then its completely destroys the use of the quest and no one feels like they are having any success, only the fact that they are farming endless trash mobs for random drop elemental stuff. yea chaotic is a little challenging but its suppost to be that way so you arent handed stuff on a silver platter.

You stated good points, but honestly as a Wizard soloing in CoM with a bot, it was still really difficult. But I do see your point in that it's not supposed to be easy, but challenging. I revoke my first statement.
