I'm starting to get really frustrated. I've done every fix I can think of (connection optimizer, updated drivers, dual core fix. reinstall) and still having the same problem. It's lessened since I made all those changes which I'm not sure if it's coincidental or not. I 3 box with WinEQ and just freeze up left and right. This morning all 3 were freezing up at once for no reason, but that has since stopped and now it's back to the regular crashing.

Kron: yes

Lillu: If you were referring to me, no change. Currently on attempt 4 or 5 of trying to connect.

Well mate, I checked your ips/accounts and I see no reason in the db why you shouldn't be able to log on.

Thanks Lill I'm more looking for anyone with a similar problem who has fixed it now, I'm pretty sure the problem is on my end I'm just not sure what it could be.

Well apparently it's character related or something. I'm letting one of my guildmates use Amun my warrior and he gets the exact same problem I do, on the other side of the country on a completely different system, any ideas?

Well, I've switched to SoD in an attempt to somehow fix this problem and it's the same. I've been single boxing and still - every couple zones I lock up. I've been playing less and less because I want to enjoy myself and I can't when I have to constantly reload EQ!

No one in their entire box career has ever run into this problem?

4g RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3800 series
AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ 2.60 GHz
Windows 7
SoD xpac
no UI, but use WinEQ
