SK DoTs

Rather than tacking on to another thread, I figured I'd start this anew.

My issue is that SK DoTs don't bring anything to the table, and are pretty much useless in their current form.

My dps with straight melee:

My dps using blood of inruku and blood of discord (didn't bother with dark constriction because it was resisted 100% of the time):

As you can see, the difference isn't noticeable. My proposal is that the DoTs either have their damage increased, or their cast time lowered to .5 seconds (like our spear of disease line) so that they don't interfere with our weapon swings, which generally deal more damage and agro.

Also, our undead nuke line of spells deal less damage than our regular Spear line of nukes on top of only being castable on undead, which are few and far between. Not a pressing issue, but kind of puzzling.

Question -

the pitful dps that you post above - the first one is melee only. The 2nd one is dot only or dot + melee?

Yes. The first one is just autoattack. The second is autoattack and refreshing those two DoTs as they fade. I know the overall damage is low because my gear/AAs are pretty bad, but the idea wasn't to show my overall dps but the contrast between using the DoTs and not using them.

I know you have SK Donator weapon so gear is not that bad for starters. Granted, you are missing AAs, Focii and some mods but 400 Dps including Dots sounds awefully low.

All I did is turn on auto attack for a few minutes and then take a picture of the parse. I don't know what could've gone wrong. Sune buffed.
