My LDON Experience

Normals
The normals for me take roughly 5-6 mins for a slaughter. The benefit for normals is the speed in which they can be completed with a bot. These drop the weakest loot type 1 augs, and if you are grinding points or AA's, normals is the way to go.

Hards
The Hards are hard. There is no doubt about it. The problem with the hards is the amount of time it takes to kill a hard compared with the sub-par amount of points in return. It takes anywhere from 20-30 mins for a hard with a geared group and 30-45 for a normal group.

The problem I see with the LDON system is the insane amount of grinding it takes to get points through this system. You can do 5-6 normals in the time it takes to do 1 hard with minimal risk of death. The hards need to be increased point wise. I only do the LDON's for experience for my alts. It's the best exp I can find, but found the hard's don't really give more exp than normals either. There truly is no point to do Hards except to challenge yourself.

Hard should yield more xp , agreed.
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed

It should reflect the risk and extra time required for sure. Currently it's a bit out of balance but the extra loot available now does make it a bit more appealing I think.

We don't plan to make ldon any more easier. If you want easy points/grind/exp, do normal. If you are looking for challenge and more reward, you do hard. It's been changed many times already and it's perfectly fine now for my taste.

Was just looking to give a little honest non offensive feedback. I would love to see the hard exp increased, would make me giggle... or maybe its the 6 yuenglings talking.... more beer!

Hard LDONs are still not worth it after making the change with bosses and loot. Mobs agroing from insane distances and through walls and trash quadding for 2k aside, having to run 20 (5% x 20 runs) for a chance at loot which might be a 300 point item is just not worth it. Looking forward for the next 10 rounds of improvements though. We are getting there.

Plenty of good points here. I've run a couple of hard ldons over a month ago, and after that, I never wanted to do 'em again because it just made a whole lot sense to do normal runs. But Lillu/devs have also adjusted the point system, and added some bonus loot recently in an effort to balance things out.

I still agree with the OP's feedback... but I also understand Lillu's opinion. Maybe slightly nerf the reward points from normal LDoN collection? In Miraguls, every mob starting from ZI seems to be a guaranteed drop (dunno if this has changed lately).

It's been changed many times already and it's perfectly fine now for my taste


Im not looking to make hards any easier, they are at a very tough level now which is a good thing, a good challenge. It just seems the time invested is not worth doing the event.

Hard events should yeild great rewards. The free 2 slot aug is something I wouldn't classify as a great reward being as it is easily replaced by the 600 point slot 2 aug. Every slot 1 stinks. If they were inline with the slot 16's it would be a different story.

again, this is constructive critisim not a personal attack.

I agree with pretty much everything Expletus has said, hard's aren't currently worth doing because you get no great reward from it, and you can obtain points easier by doing easy's over and over
