Headhunter quest:

Could you change it so hitting or getting aggro on the dang mob flags you for each kill? 95% of the problems I have had people camping/killing named I need/want to ** progress ** comes from people doing this quest. Now I absolutely understand wanting to do it, and I absolutely do but me doing it generally comes at the expense of people just doing their new guy thing.

While I don't mind sharing spawns or anything it's always someone able to kill the boss with a bot coming along lol. Last time it was a guy who needed the kill, and we actually would have wiped, he basically soloed the boss and we collected the loot lol. We were actually disappointed because we wanted to do it on our own.

It's actually not a huge problem now, but I'm still having trouble finding bosses up or whatever in Ssra. It was a much bigger problem in the lower level exp zones where people need/want the named in all those zones and wouldn't even use the loot on a bot.

Is this even possible? If I'm totally off base here it's cool, just a problem I see which I'm sure I'm not the only one, and a possible easy solution.

With the way it works right now, it's kinda impossible. A global is granted upon the mob's death which is what gives you credit ... same deal as with the "kill"-type achievements ... you gotta be in the xp group to get the credit.

Curious, does anyone know if faction is given like on live ... if you achieve any type of aggro?

I know this complaint sounds ridiculous but you would be surprised at the amount of uber geared folks you find starting in the 30-55 zones. Which is also why I find the idea of making all the lower tier stuff droppable kind of alarming.

If you look at the prices in the bazaar for that gear it's less than 2K a piece in most cases. So I don't see where someone is going to farm all of that just to make a couple plat that could just as easily be made in an area where you get xp.

Oh maybe I saw an old thread and thought it applied to Kael+ zones. Hey I'm still new here, yeah that other stuff being droppable makes it worthless. (which is great)

When they used the terminology lower tier I was thinking the actual tiered gear.

Regardless: again tonight (once again I stress I hold no ill will towards the people simply completing their quest) almost the entire zone minus Glyphed was cleared for the headhunter quest. So my guild was stuck doing just Glyphed. (Also because the zone crashed we lost the Rhag cycle again)

edit: Exiled did spawn from Glyphed. Sorry, not to be so doom and gloom here but I hope you get my point. I got a guild full of new players excited to raid tier1 junk.

We can't do anything with zone crashes and script driven mobs poofing. What would help if you guys would post how you actually manage to crash a zone (I know its unintentional, but not that hard to find out how you did). Then we could fix it.

PMed.

Anyhow the main complaint is the headhunter quest, 75% or more of Ssra has been clear all week by individuals doing this quest. I know it seems like I complain a lot but as the guildleader it falls to me to try and make my guildmates happy, and we are this server is badass. We LOVE what you guys have done and are doing this is just feedback. Had a kickass time in Ssra anyhow even if we didn't get to kill everything we wanted, figured out the Cursed cycle here finally and got Glyphed/Exiled and Cursed all down and are looking forward to Emp.

I think no harm to lower respawn times in the lower level zones, and maybe Ssra too. We'll look into it.
