World Boss loots with the nodrop tag

Wouldnt it have been fairer to at least give us time to move off the world boss loots from traders?

As these items become no drop anyway with the attunable status, was it required to make these items no drop? My trader had multiple world boss loots which I had put the time and effort into obtaining, and these have now been made worthless as they are not tradeable nor useable.
