This is pretty much no longer an issue for us, we pretty much just need one more Emp kill to move the rest of the guild into ToV. But I'm still concerned over the nature of the headhunter quest - I saw you lowered the spawns in Ssra but the spawntime on the bosses is still the same. The bosses in there was the issue for us, seriously why are tier 1 guilds forced to compete with t4+ guilds for spawns for a quest? That is the issue with the HH quest as I see it. (I'm so glad respawns aren't a week!)

While on the whole I don't think it affects the server pop it definitely affects new guilds for the short time they are in that non-instanced zone (please in no way construe this as me asking for ssra to be instanced!). It was very frustrating, you can ask anyone in my guild how they felt about being told "You have 5 seconds" in regards to engaging a boss when it wasn't as simple as hitting autoattack for us to kill the boss :) Incidentally we kissed and made up after that little incident but that fact of the matter remains is that guy wasn't just being a dick, he needed that boss kill for his quest, and while letting him kill it means quest for him, loot for us in general we prefer to obtain most loot on our own.

Does that make better sense? It's the nature of the HH quest that forces higher tier people to compete with lower tier people for quest kills. I don't think it's really a spawntime issue but rather an issue with the quest itself. Or maybe it's just an issue with people not starting the HH quest early enough lol. Anyhow that's my take on it, like I said pretty much a non-issue for us now! Once again, thanks for all the work you guys do - ToV is fun :)

Team work is the key! Yeah you want to do it ALL on your own.. but if somebody is saying hey I am here and am going to kill Xraidmob do you want in the grp so you can get credit/loot why would you say no lol. The HH mobs in ssra are a little tough. There's a few of them that require either somebody in some REALLY good gear or you're going to need a grp or two of people. I also remember progressing through ssra on live... and getting emp seru keyed. This is 10x easier than that, and it also takes much less time! I guess what I'm trying to say is.. relax a little and if something takes you over a week to take out so be it. I know personally the ssra HH mobs took me about two weeks to nail down if not more and that was checking on some mobs daily! In the end though, I finished it and am very happy the quest was there for me to do :D

Fair enough, and I'm sure most guilds wouldn't have a problem with sharing spawns with folks in that situation. It's just my personal opinion that the HH quest isn't new player friendly. I assure you that my intent is to change something so the progression is newer player friendly not because I need it to be any different to fit my playstyle. We made it work anyhow, and we're past it and on to the instanced content. I'm relaxed, the only thing that infuriates me is crashing every other zone. I am obtaining SoD right now and see if that helps!

but if somebody is saying hey I am here and am going to kill Xraidmob do you want in the grp so you can get credit/loot why would you say no lol.

Because that trivializes the encounter! Granted it was somewhat trivialized already because of donors we have in guild but we still enjoy killing stuff all on our own :)

In the grand scheme of things it's not that important, but the idea that a few players might quit the first time they got KS'ed on a boss mob by some high tier player with a sense of entitlement just gets my goat. But respawns are fast, and bosses in Ssra are 24 hours so it's probably more of a problem with players than with server, but those kinds of players don't care what some noob thinks so I complain here! I plan on finishing the HH quest but I would never walk all over some new guys just to get credit hehe.

The HH quest is designed to be a Livetime quest and nothing you can easily come by so its working totally as intended.
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed
