Could you PLEASE take a look at the beastlord pets, they are so bad they get ramped 1 round in ToV being fully buffed and fear toys. Even if they stay at the low lvl dps which is fine, could you possibly look at how much dmg they take? I dunno, maybe a self rune buff or something?

This problem is true for other pets, too. What i'd like to see to make Pets immunte to Rampage damage IF there is another player on the Hatelist who could be getting rampaged instead.

With the current code not possible and self runing whatever will only lead to exploits.

In essence, make sure to not send in pet first! ;)

Is it possible to for the pet to do self buffs like a 20k hp rune and a 85 percent mitigation self buff or something like that?

Yes. We won't do it because people use it to trivialize content 24/7 with stuff like this.

Solution - wait until more players are on the mobs hatelist.

yeah I experimented before with a pet buff rune, but problem was to make it only usable in raid zones only, and its impossible to set up in such way

Just a random thought, but is it possible to make rampage damage specific to a certain resist type (like poison or disease) and then make the max level pets immune to that specific resist type?

Might not be doable, but I wouldn't know.

yeah something like that is theoretically possible: you could remove Rampage ability from all the bosses (maybe with few exceptions) and replace it with PBAOE Nuke proc

But this is up to Tyler if he wants to do a revamp like that. ;)

That's a dirty bandaid fix at best so no :)

It's not that hard to wait acouple of secs before you send your pets in on AE Rampaging mobs.
