Noobie questions

I have been playing for several days now on HF and loving every minute of it, but I have a few question I haven't seen addressed in the forums as of yet.

1. What area does the server cover. I have SOF installed but I don't think every zone is available. Veskar is offline far as I can tell. I managed to flag my self PVP trying to go to NC. What are the active zones ( by expansion ) that we can access?

2. What is to "right" path leveling up? I went PC / CB to COM. The level 55 zones seemed a bit to much for me and my bot at first. Is there a suggested path to take leveling up?

3. UI's. I read the thread about the working UI's and none of them work for me. I just get little pieces of them and the rest is missing. Is there a good SOF able UI that works on HF?

4. As a brand new guy ( and wife ) to the server is there anything we should know that me might not being new?

I don't know if there is an actual list of zones that are open, might just be a trial and error thing. The Database might be a good place to look for information on that. I found by using the fairy zones was the best for me since I didn't have access to items from higher level toons (if your gear is good you can try non-traditional zones, since exp bonus is serverwide and non-fairy zones tend to have less people, and less people doing annoying things like farming 35 AC augs and HH quests). But I stayed in the zones well past the recommended level - for instance I stayed in CB/Paludal for 5 levels past iirc finishing all the quests (those quest items are really useful - invisibility - ivu - lev and EB) Then moved to CoM and stayed there until I almost couldn't level anymore, then KC. Pretty much I stayed in the zones until they couldn't give me exp or close to it and then moved on.

No clue on the UI's I use the one the game comes with!

Oh and as a brand new guy try not to be put off by the sense of entitlement crowd as you are leveling. Some people think it's just a game and act however they want, but you generally don't have to deal with those people very much or very long but don't expect anything to be done about it just ignore it. There are way more nice and cool people than these guys but they can really get your goat sometimes.

Hi hi hi! Welcome to the server, yadda yadda yadda!

Look for the teleport fairy named Elyse, she has a list of alll the available zones that you
can access, besides the "custom" zones, which all have their own port-fairies and are
spaced according to levels.

For your levelling entertainment, at your current level, I would suggest the new zone that has opened, Oasis of Marr. It was created by the devs to give people a more pleasant levelling-curve than going from KC/CoM/Guk right into Seb/PoValor and Lair. Once you ding level 69, head on over to PoStorms.
