Ifir, Dagger of Fire

I guess I wasn't too clear with what I was trying to point out LOL (didn't want it to be an endgame weapon, just wanted it to be on par with the sword, proc-wise). That's fine, I guess all T5+ rogues follow the same setup which is Epic 2.8 + Xeg 1hb

It only makes sense to use the 1hb with the LT proc. Although, i'll try to parse with a combination of the Ifir and Xegony and see what the numbers tell. Maybe the 15% piercing mod will increase the DPS of the off hand. /shrug

^ That's exactly my point... the only reason why I'd use the Xeg offhand for my rogue is the LT proc. But, what can I say... call me hard-headed, but I like to use dual daggers, it's my style and I like to be a little different. Even if the Xeg 1hb has a far superior ratio, if the Ifir had an LT proc too, I'd prefer to use the dagger instead (I don't care that much if the 1hb does more damage, it's just for offhand anyways).

With the Xeg 1hb, you can have 3 LT procs... with the Ifir right now, you can only get 2 LT procs and a 3rd so-so proc. LT procs are a big plus for raiding toons, since it helps to keep you alive.

You "could" just toss 2 KoL augs into fennin dagger and call it a day

I've had my rogue's Ifir augged with 2 KoL augs since I got it two months ago I just wish it has 3 LT procs instead of 2.

No big deal though, I didn't expect it to be changed... and Tyler said no so I got no problem with that Was just throwing it out there.

I had a really awesome idea but then realized that adding an entire weapon or changing an existing one because a certain rogue watches too much "America's Top Model" was a little overboard.

What's wrong with trying to look good? Some like to farm for illusion items, some like to collect weapons, some like to use good looking ones... so on so forth.

No no I feel you on that, I like to rock this 2h sword from ToV (forget the name) because it looks so sexy with the runes on the blade and whatnot. But that's "town wear" and you simply switch to the Xeg 1h when you're raiding, because I don't know about you but I never stop to check and see how badass a guy looks in the middle of a raid

Wouldn't it be better if your "for show" weapon is also the weapon you actually use? Best example: the Fennin warrior-only sword.

Like in Aion when you could skin items... that was great until it took me 3 days to level from 47 to 48.
