Implementation of a Epic (Ranger) bow

Good afternoon,

I would like to see the implementation of an epic (ranger) Bow, Currently our epic are all 1hs when we do most of our dps with a bow. Quested,dropped, or crafted I feel it would inhance the ranger true dps capability. You could always dial back the curent epics to make this more feasible.

+1. Always thought this would be a great idea. I'd have to add that crafting the final item would be a nice touch. Maybe after questing, finding drops from particular ranger bosses/mobs, and such, a skill check of max fletching skill, and you get the stave from 1 guy, have to tailor a low trivial string, tinker a couple cams.

really think ranger dps should be maxed with swords rather than bow.

if you add an epic bow people will just afk their rangers and it becomes overpowered. if you want to get the most out of the class then you should actively play it, not press one button and look at the numbers. Not saying you do this but boxers do, i know i do it myself and i know others do also.

there are some nice bows out there already, look some up

I totally agree with your point. I wouldn't want to let those folks who arent actually playing the ranger take advantage of that. I guess I was just remembering the Trueshot bow quest, and how it made me feel accomplished. Ranger was my 1st character on live, so it was glorious. Even if the stats weren't as good as a high end raid drop bow, I'd still relish the chance to make the Trueshots Upgrade.
