Comment about Spear of Storms:

Why even use this over a lifetap at this level?

500 mana on a DD spell is a waste of mana when tanking because you ought to be healing yourself as much as you can while tanking (which is what makes unholy aura so amazing - not the damage, but the ability to sustain yourself - ....which also isnt working for me).

the dps problem isnt going to be fixed by adding spells that just do direct damage - they requires mana and are not sustainable dps; they would have to be used frequently by an SK to just "suffice" the damage other classes do. its not what's needed.

There are times when SK don't tank. This upgrade has been asked for. It was delivered.

Edit: re-reading your post it's really totally destructive, you don't give positive feedback at all, you basically write this sucks, this is bad, we don't need it, go away.

If you want to discuss in a mature manner, like an adult, i suggest you rethink what you want to say and write a new post.

Give me Spells please and explain what should happen in your opinion. Are the Lifetap over time effected by SK AA that improves Lifetap too?

This spell is not affected by soul abrasion, but may be affected by damage/heal foci (Honestly don't know since nobody uses it).

Heals for 675 over 30 seconds for 550m.

Imo, it should heal for more than our direct lifetap since it takes half a minute to run its full course. Mana cost could be justified if the heal/tick were enough. I think 475/tick would be reasonable?

Don't know how Pally HoTs look but they might need some love if our life drains exceed their HoTs.

Yea, makes sense since we never did the complete DoT revamp that Chaosslayer was working on.

Is this the only Lifetap Dot you guys get?

I tested Unholy Aura Discipline and it increased dd,taps and ht by roughly 25% last night after it being said it doesnt work in ooc.

alla says 50% but cant go by that.

There are previous incarnations of that spell, four of em starting with Leech, then Vampire Curse etc. Is that what you were refering to?

Bond of Inruku (135/tick)- lvl66 (SK Exclusive)
Bond of Death (80/tick)- lvl62 (SK Exclusive)
Vampiric Curse (21/tick)- lvl57 (29 For Necro)
Leach (8/tick)- lvl15 (9 For Necro)

Ok,

so upgrading Bond of Inruku to 500 dot and 500 heal should be fine i guess? 8 tics times 500 heal = 4k heal, compared to Touch of the Devourer which heals 1500 but is focusable?
