its fine imo... just because volgar said a zerk could do 12k doesnt mean its actually happened, they are in line with wizards which is where they should be.. and this is on vlan, where melee's notoriously parse higher, go fight the ct dummy with raid buffs and discs over a 5-6 minute parse and see where you land.

The whole... melee v caster dps thing against vlan is not accurate, as long as the wiz doesn't get resists, he's going to parse the exact same on a raid mob, the melee is not.

The only thing melee parses are good for against vlan, is to compare against other melee parses against vlan

Yea, well the Donator Zerk weapon went a bit over the top. It shouldn't have gotten an extra 10 Damage like the other weapons since it was just upgraded.
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed

I guess what I was getting at was that your claim about their raid buffed dps is pretty much a non-factor at this point being that we didn't get any parses ( that I remember seeing ) from any other classes at any other gear level raid buffed.

So unless those are obtained and balanced against ( as opposed to balancing against base dps, which is what tyler seemed to do ) then it shouldn't be taken in to account.

Whats the big deal you told me that your rogue Volgar Expletus, did 11.5kDPS with discs so its not that big of difference. I think Zerkers are just fine the way they are. Now that your rogue isnt the best DPS now it becomes a problem :o On top of that at least rogues get the SoS and have other benefits. Berserkers have absolutely no purpose but to DPS. They have no buffs, no SoS, no FD, and anything else of raid benefit.

Which is why i asked raid buff parses for class balance also (since? the beginning), I am not surprised by those figures.

I know class balance is not fun, takes ages, few feedback/parses because some classes fear the "adjustments" but as for parses we ask people with 2.5 to post, we ask RAIDERS, people who do not play solo Sune's buff...
All melees can have the same benefits/raid buffs (who said shaman) + discs "working as intended" which is by far different from what casters can get because casters do not get the same benefits/buffs in term of efficiency/dps.

Hope there will be a second balance phase for non melee's sake :)
PS: I try to stay constructive, not being a "ÂŁ*$%$".
PS2: Casters = Wiz for me, I would understand that some casters from others classes do not want me to speak on their behalf.

I would not even play my wiz if I met resists, dps would be so low.

I never said 11k. Was 10 fully buffed bard songs and old 2.0s. Im at max gear as well and compared to a semi-geared berzerker i got smoked. Oddly enough im okay with it.

The only reason i posted was that to point out the dmg that they do is beast mode. I don't give a shit where rogues r at, cuz I play 6 fn toons and just set / forget volgar. I want more utilities for my enchanter if you really wanna know cuz they are fun.

Thanks for the figures. In essence, we either need to up Wizards burst Damage to match Melee Burst(disc) damage or supply Wizards nuke discs.

I mean current Wiz dps is around 6k at most during burst, that's half of what you crazy DPS classes pump out.
