WW dragons

not gonna say they should be easier, they are fine as they are imho (takes a very solid tank, ToV geared SK doesnt make the cut (splat really fast)), good heals and good dps.

what my concern is though they are rather considerably difficult, on a 8 hour respawn and their tear drop is only 5%?, thats worse than drake orbs in EtoV, now i know you dont want everyone running around with 2.0 but with the way luck falls you could do a full clear of WW 4-5 times and never see a tear ( thats alot of time spend for a full group). i would only mearly ask for a custom drop rate depending on the dragon ( some of the easier ones sure 5%, but some of the tougher ones that hit for over 4k dmg maybe boost them to 10-15% that way the risk vs reward stays rather steady.

also is it anyway possible to move tsiraka outside the cave? ( makes things annoying on a already tough mob)

(alternate idea about tear is add in a 35% drop (fragment or whatever), that you combine x number of them to create a tear), that way at least if you dont get enough in a full clear at least you make some progress.

Thats a good idea actually - i'll rewrite that so each "gimp" dragon has a 50% chance or so to drop Item X and you need 3 or so to combine (smithing!) it for the tear.

Btw, i gave SK/Pal Click Stonewall - they still cannot tank a dragon?

still havnt gotten a pair of the gloves to test it but in a single group the dragons dont die fast enough to kill them in that three min window ( on the ones war def disced on it lasted maybe half the fight if lucky ( had shm for panther to)), and and retrospec i wont call them gimp ill just say the variance of difficulty on the dragons ranges greatly ( from one i can 2box to others that eat ToV geared warriors before they know it ( yes you know who you are))

perhaps intsead of blacksmithing make it a jewelcraft or some trade atm that has no custom use yet

It's a no fail combine, kinda like the Protection of the Cabbage stuff.

Dragons now have a 25% chance to drop a Fragment of a Tear. You need 3 to combine it to a Frozen Tear of a Dragon.

I like this....good idea Sarcon. Thanks for that Tyler. Makes it so that you can kill about 12 dragons and hope to see a full tear's combine worth of fragments or you can get REALLY lucky and get the full thing. That's fun!

In the future, I would LOVE to see something like this implemented more commonly. For example, on Live, back in the day, you could camp a fungi tunic for hours on end and spend a week camping it, just to have the stupid fungus robe drop like 30 times. If you could have "harvested" 10 robes for a no fail combine at the tunic, then that would have been a fair compromise instead of it being a TOTAL waste of time. This could give a great element of risk vs reward to future content, and keep people interested.

Thanks for this change, Tyler. We did a nearly full wipe of the dragons last night and walked away with 4 fragments. There were two times before when we did it before the change and walked away with nothing. It is much nice to get a piece rather than nothing!
