Yes, if he made the changes today, it is likely they aren't live yet because Lillu resets the server about 3-4 hours from now or so.

I have gotten one Black Pearl off trash out of all the mobs in the entire first part of the zone... not sure if that's intentional or was it meant to be higher drop rate than that?

Black Pearl is new, 10% or so chance drop rate on trash.

Almost wiped out the zone before castle and only two things dropped, 1 black pearl and 1 chaotic coins (off trash, not named) - Is the droprate supposed to be this low?

it's as rare as the guk trash loot,just somenewdrops added.

Locket of Escape - Charges 1: Bind Affinity (2 seconds)

Why is there a Bind Affinity charm, btw? Are we going to bind at the buff person instead of 5 feet away at the soul binder? lol.

You can bind anywhere on eqemu, so that can be very useful in certain situations. (ever camp a mob and not want to run all the way back to the spawn if you need to log for the night?)

As for the insta gate item, i love the idea and the name! i saw the insta cast gate and thought that really is like a get out of jail free card. It'll be very useful in situations where you KNOW you'll die, and need to get out of there ASAP.
