Pre-revision Rogues were getting some awesome DPS with our Daggerfall crits. Because of this being Emu also, we could do them mid fight which is what brought us those 1000+ DPS parses. However, after the revision patch things have changed.
Pre-revision, my max daggerfall crit at 41+2(dis) damage was around 13k - 12,936 I think. They happened few and far between, but maybe 10-25% of the time depending on the mob. However, Ijust spent about a good half hour in Icewell parsing and I've found that post-revision max daggerfall backstabs at 41+2(dis) are about 4k - 4086 exactly.
This also explains why I was parsing so low during our ToV run the other night with 600-700 being average for my DPS when it used to be closer to 1000 DPS. I'm not complaining and whatever damage I do is fine for me since it's Hans is more of a luxury alt than a real character. I would like maybe Extraliten (Stabbs) or Ienjoypie to confirm what I am claiming and see if maybe Rogue DPS needs to be re-adjusted.
Btw, this is with my new warrior bot tanking for me so I'm not really circle strafing much unless Jerant got aggro form a heal or whatever. So this is close to what a main Rogue would see as far as attentiveness and backstab usage.
Unfortunately I didn't keep any pre-revision parses. I typically parse for the night and wipe the log file. Maybe next ToV run, I'll persuade Jeido to go a few fights without Jerant and get some good long parsed fights.
