Least once a day I or another few guild members go into ToV to farm Orbs for our armor making.
99% of the time no orbs drop. Is it possible 2 take out the coins that drop and maybe increase the Orb dropping some? I mean its really bad!

The orbs drop rate is actually an old discussion that was finalized along time ago.
The gems, drake parts, and armor mats have no effect on the rate that the orbs drop they are on a completely seperate lootdrop table.
Just to recap the orbs only drop in east tov and rarely in north tov as well, iirc they do not drop in west wing or the hub at all.
Once again orb drop rate was final and remains the same.

There are days I go in there and get 8 or 9 in one clear and days I go in there and only see 2. Average for me has been 6. So I know it sucks to hear it but you are just having some really bad luck and to be patient and keep grinding.

Average of 6? Wow, you are lucky! I think my average for a long time was 2-3 per run, unless I was helping other people, then it seemed like they got 5-6.
Really though, the trash respawn isn't more than a few hours, even at 4 per hour you can get enough orbs for a few people per day, if you have enough people in your guild. The secret is simply running East at every repop.
Just keep at it, orb drops suck at times, but it shouldn't take too terribly long to get your entire guild in ToV gear.
... then again, you're in full Ancient Metal armor, I guess you're just trying to rush others through? 6 orbs per run should be more than enough to completely gear 1 person per 2 runs. Some classes can get away with just ToV bp/legs and filler from dragon drops.

Well I am speaking about the days when I was gearing War / Clr / Mnk
Later when I made the bard I already knew I only needed 2 orbs for the armor he needed.
Ranger only needed like 2 and my Necro was lucky. I was the one that discovered the TOV quest robe was dropping in another zone. Honestly thought I would have to destroy it but was able to keep it. Regardless I also knew I only needed 1 orb for armor I wanted on that character.
Back gearing friends is where most of the orbs I have seen have gone.
Kill it enough and you will see your average go up. Kind of like Lady M, I have seen it double drop coth click twice now.
