OOC feedback

All day today I noticed rage tells, negative comments towards devs, and negative feedback throughout the day in the OOC. Lets give our devs a break... Lillu and friends have been working extremely hard to bring us a gameing experience unlike any other... They implemented a major patch today that will improve our gameing experience 10 fold if we give them a chance to tweak it and make it the way they intend it to be...It isnt like they can just wave a magic wand and make everything perfect the first try... Last I checked this is a free server not some big money game with thousands of subscribers and teams of developers and testers payed to make everything perfect...We are the testers, and they need as much help from us as we can offer, to make this server into what everyone wants it to be... I know its frustrating when you spend a lot of time in a game and things do not go acording to plan and its hard to resist venting in OOC.. Fact is I have even done it myself, but I have since realized that our devs are giving us something that we will not find anywhere else, and it is in our best interest to help them out rather then complain about, and bash the content that they provide...As for errors and mistakes that we have seen with this new patch, they are something that is inevitable with any patch/expansion of any game, and I for one think our devs are doing the best job they can with what little rescources they do have...So lets help them out and Report any errors/feedback in the apropriate forums rather then spamming the OOC.. If you see a GM online in-game, or on the forums don't be scared to give them a thanks or a cheer for the days upon days of enjoyment they have provided us..

Beat me to the punch Ghulak. Thanks for a great post. Absolutely right. The GM's are working all the time to make better content for us all. And for those of us who have been around forever and a day, we have gone thru these patches and updates and things have changed before and they will change again. Its really easy folks, give them a chance to fix the issues they can or head over to EZ or P1999 and play there for a while and then remember why THF is the best server available. Or not, and stay there and leave us to enjoy OUR server. But with all major updates come problems and so we have to give them time to fix what they can and the information to properly do it. Hats off to the GM's and staff you guys rock. This loyal supporter isn't going anywhere.

and even those big companies 'break' things when they release new patches, if anyone remembers the days of old on live, every patch day something 'broke' and there would need to be an 'emergency' patch the following day, that most of the time took as long if not longer than the original patch. Atleast we were back up and running within the same day the patch was released.

head over to EZ or P1999 and play there for a while and then remember why THF is the best server available. Or not, and stay there and leave us to enjoy OUR server.

well said ghulak - if you have an issue with a change right now (which probably isnt working right anyways) come up wtih a respectful way to get your point across, not bitching in ooc - (i had to turn mine off yesterday lol) - and before you go making sweeping conclusions regarding "game breaking" changes, pull together the necessary info, IE PARSE YOURSELF (nows a bad time, but if i see 1 more person crying about their dps with posting or at least parsing themselves...)

My OOC has been broken for bout 2 months now. I have not been able to see OOC besides 2 or 3 lines when i first log in and after that bam it is gone till next log in.
AND LOW AND BEHOLD it works all day yesterday. So they fixed that for me at least but damn it was the worse day for it to get fixed.
If i had 1plat per bitch in OOC yesterday while I was on, i would have enough money to play casino 24/7 for at least a month

Come on guys be respectful, Devs work hard and long hours after there Full time jobs for US and how do we repay them, by bitching bout what they do.

I dont like some changes, some i do, and few have changed things for me OOC, AA not grey'ed etc. but i didnt test on test server i never gave feedback, and that goes for almost everyone else that is bitching, so WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO BITCH.

After such a monumental update it took as little as 24hrs to get bug reports submitted, have the devs examine, assess, and implement a wave of critical fixes. For an emulated server that is fantastic.

Each time I considered submitting a bug report, I would get on the forums and behold, someone had already beat me to the punch.

Considering the above, THF's players are the best, THF's devs are the best, and THF is the best. Thank you all, players and devs alike, for making THF THE BEST!
