I Goofed and Cannot Log In Now

Hi,

I'm new here, so pelase bare with my silly newb mistakes.

I'm using Titanium and accidently ran it using the login address (eqhost.txt) for the SoD version:
"[LoginServer]
Host=login.thehiddenforest.org:5999"

After logging in and finding the server list blank and the, "You own 0/0 expansions," message, I was able to narrow down the fault and properly reconfigure the "eqhost.txt" filw to:
[LoginServer]
Host=login.thehiddenforest.org:5998

Now I'm unable to log in (to the private LS) at all. In other words I get the bad password message and cannot proceed to the server select screen.

Could anyone throw me some advice please?

By the way, I'm using a THF account, so I beleive I'm going about this correctly by trying to log into the private LS.

Now I'm getting a cannot conenct message when attempting to log on, I must be doing something wrong in an obvious-to-everyone-else sort of way!

Heya, all I can say, there's no THF account named: 2xWhiskey (this is what you are trying to log on via our private LS.) So umm :p

Checked again and there's no 2xWhiskey account logged in ever to THF so my guess would be that you are trying to use your forum account name to log on to THF instead of an emu or THF player account.

What a clown I am!

I did not realize that there was difference between creating a forum account and a login server account.

I had skipped the link for creating a seperate login account in the login server FAQ.

By the way, after creating the login account I got a 0/0 expansions and blank server list. I tried to relog in and got an account error message (username/password). On my third attempt I got the proper info at the server select screen.

Thanks for your time and assistance! I don't think I would have realized I needed to register a seperate account for the LS.

Aye, we might have to make that a bit more clear. I saw this happen a few times actually, but glad to hear it worked at the end.
