giveitem to a bot is messed up

when I try to give silver dagger of destruction to my rogue bot it defaults to range item reguardless of weather I have an item in range and my primary slot is empty. Please help

The problem is that the bot will only equip an item in the first slot listed. We talked about this with Striat a bit the other day and he said it was fixed awhile back, but seems to have come back.

He is currently addressing it.
