Lineage 1 was the first MMORPG i ever played. I made alot of friends and enemies on live, and eventually ran a Lineage 1 emu server before coming back to the EQ scene. It looks like the emu scene wins this round!

Lineage servers remain open in South Korea, Japan, China, and Taiwan.

would probably be riots if they close those.

was a good game, but honestly i can see why it shut down, just never really clicked with most people in the west. im amazed they still had servers in NA and such for 10 years tbh.

I was playing Lineage 1 NA beta in late 98. NCsoft even sold themselves short lol. Last I remember of live, many areas were overrun by adena farm-bots. There are still some great emu servers though.
