Not sure why, but since last night every time I execute EQ I am getting this strange error. It comes up after character select, a good while after selecting the character (almost as if it occurs the moment I am officially loaded in game).


The part that really bothers me is it only occurs on THF. PEQ loads fine, so does my private server into Shadow Grove. I tested loading up Shin, Wynn, Djinn (all on 3 seperate accounts), I also have tested my modified version of EQ just for THF (e:\games\eqgame\eqgame.exe) and my titanium vanilla copy (e:\games\eqtitanium\eqgame) which has had no modifications at all to it to see if it's potentially my client.

I can go to other EMU servers fine. I am not utilizing WinEQ2 or any type of 3rd party EQPlayNice tool.

I switch between a 32 bit edition of Windows 7 and a 64 bit edition of Windows XP, the above testing was done on the Win 7 side. Will reboot now and see if on the Win XP 64 side it persists.

I just lost connection now while gating to THF and am getting the same message. Using XP Media Center Edition.

Thanks for the heads up Koeril. Let me know if you figure out a solution, I won't test this more now that I'm aware another person is also sharing the problem.

Didn't work on 64bit XP either.

I was with Jerant in Chardok and then i gated in to THF.

CTD and i get the same message.
