Cant figure out why im not loging into THF vrs live server .

Ive already have done this once today and got loged in created a new character played till lvl 13 then got a Dc with an unknown error sayin * Eq.exe has encountered an error. Sorry for any inconvenience this window will close yada yada *. I at no avail could resolve the problem So did the only thing i knew to do seeings i had 2 dif copies of Titanium installed, i wiped them both and reinstalled. So now i only have 1 copy of titanium. *And no its not no pirate or torrent bs. Its off the disc* Anyhow, i redid everything to the the letter but when i try to run the everquest.exe it takes me to the live server instead of redirecting me to THF server? I did the redirect on the Eqhost to correct the port etc. i dont know why its doing this. HELP

Just couple guesses here, and I am assuming you've covered this as you mentioned you followed all directions, just a shot in the dark:

Did you move the proper .exe as a shortcut on your desktop, then edit to add in the -patchme in its target location?

You didn't patch it either did you? Besides the custom THF installer that is.

Well i did have the game up and runing then after 13 lvls it just went cuput on me. I may have shorcuted the wrong .Exe to my desktop but i did a search in the Eq directory for all *.exes to make sure there wasnt another i missed and the one i have linked seems to be the right 1 but when i double click i get the live patcher

if you double clicked on the actual .exe - then yes you would get the patcher, and the moment patcher went up - your entire installation went kaboom.
may have to clean reinstall

basically you only need 2 things to connect to Emu:

-proper ip address in eqhost file: Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998
-proper shortcut: eqgame.exe patchme

MAKE SURE, if you runnign windows Vista/7, that your windows actually allows you to edit those files, instead of creating look a like copies
