so I done some parsing , and if I'm using everything I got. 2.0, all dots, my nuke +manaflare + donor I top at around 3k dps for 1min fight, I find it very very low.

From my day on live playing a druid, I remember beeing able to do some very decent dps. ( 1999 to 2004/5) we had some deadly dots and very decent nuke. thats why I'm kinda frustrated here , because beside my 2.0 there is nothing exciting here.

Manaflares proccs do more dmg then my best nuke, it's kinda sad.

so my question is . am I wrong and the way druid are designed here are nothing compared to what I experienced on live or am I right and druid need some dmg boost ?

No joke ! on live my druid used to do some good dmg !!
man we were beat in pvp , deadly dots + little bomb nuke

I've played a druid on live for years before I ragequit it in frustration.. THF druids >>>>> live druids

The reason we keep bringing up dmg is that is the only other thing we have

Clerics get heals and group heals and prevent death buffs
Shms get heals and awesome buffs
Druids get heals and dmg spells

Now the cleric look good on its 2nd function of group heals and prevent death buffs.
And the shm certainty has amazing buffs.
But the druid still has terrible dmg.

I was excited to see the new dots, but when i got them and started using them, well, they just weren't enough. immolation one is nice b/c it has a fire resist debuff to help land the T8 nuke. But the swarm, although it does last longer, is the same dmg as true vengeance. Most fights never last long enough for the longer duration to even matter, unless it is a boss fight, and on a boss fight, im healing anyways. Was really hoping for a new vengeance short duration type dot with high dmg than true vengeance that i could also stack with true vengeance.

I still think the dmg of the T8 nuke needs to be increased some more. The 8% proc bonus is pretty cool, its like a mini epic debuff, for 10% instead of 65. But from what i can tell, it doesnt stack with the 2.0 debuff.

Firenze - do you have the T8 rain spell, you purchase it from the vendor for 1k points. It helps, you can do a rain, and then 2 nukes, and then another rain, and repeat. Manaflare only procs on the 1st cast of the rain, not each wave, but you do have a chance to twin cast each wave of the rain. However, i very very rarely get a twin cast since all i have is a 5% chance from the T8 final stage staff. Might be better if i had an enc to buff me with the additional 8% chance.

tl:dr - T8 druid still need more dmg boost imo. That or give us a sweet buff instead of animal attunment line that no one uses(maybe a really nice regen buff, as our best one is still blessing of the oak which is the lvl 69 spell webtools/spell.php?id=5353 and that is only 150 per tick, now i wouldnt want to step on the toes of the shm donor regen buff, but maybe we could get like 500 per tick? ). I still think a nuke that heals the target of target would be awesome!!!

Moon curse is an awesome t8 buff that is amazing for melee. Flurry chance ftw.

Imo paired with a cleric they heal just as well as 2 clerics also druids are in the same category as you listed Cleric Shaman Druid that means Heals/buffs all 3 have great buffs used by everyone and all 3 heal but there dmg spells are crap because they are healers/buffers. Im not trying to argue were druids dps should or shouldn't be but it is a priest class just like cleric/shaman and don't forget there 2.0 is a godly item when used correctly for I wish we had more druid epics to cycle around on raids because mobs would die in half the time w/out question :lol:

Honestly i feel the same way - i run all 3. A shm druid and a cleric. Really i think as far as class balancing goes - give the druids some form of group heal (group HoT, heal etc) and they are good to go
