The Pack is looking awesome again this year. Rodgers is a god on the field. If he stays healthy, I expect him to break most if not all of the QB records in the book. Seems like yesterday when I thought Marino's records would never be broken.

OMG! Carson Palmer is a Raider and going to play football again. I never thought the Bengals would trade him. They were hell bent on destroying his career.

They got a hell of a deal for a QB that is standing on the edge of the hill and ready to be 'over the hill' soon. The bad news for the Bengals is that they don't know how to draft so the picks will be wasted.

The positive side for the Raiders is that Palmer is most likely pissed off enuff to play like the old days and kick some booty.

Time will tell.

A 1st round in 2012, and 2nd round in 2013 with the ability to be another 1st round. That is a lot to give up and Bengals have done fair on their last 1st rounder (A.J. Green 29 Rec 4TD 453 YDS, not bad for a rookie 2009 1st rounder Jermaine Gresham also has a respectable year for a team that overall is crap

I watched Palmer from his early USC days (Yes I've been a trojan fan before the regained respect, and lost it again, I remeber growing up and going to the colliseum and seeing Robinson's team and watching Marcus Allen just rip-it-up. So it would be nice to see Palmer regain his form and actually have this Raiders team when the west and (pipe-dream) beat the Pats in the playoffs

I've always been a fan of Palmer's but I can't see myself rooting for the Raiders. I couldn't stand Al Davis and I don't think I'm alone in that.

I was really surprised at all the carrying on when he died. Yes, he's been around football forever and done it all but he's also been an @ss about it. Remember when he was suing so many people at once that he sued himself as well? LOL

Oh well, he's gone now so I'm gonna try to root for them since they have Palmer now. It's kind of like the whole Dallas situation. I can't root for them as long as Jones is the owner. Another idiot. /shakes head
