Kedge keep targeting issue

We have been working on the raid aura. The mermaids have been having some targeting issues. we can target the mobs show 100% life while someone else has done dmg and able to do dmg. while we cast and or attack the mob doesn't take dmg. until we click off the mob and target back on. this does not always work but seems to do better. other times we have to get right on top of the mob click off click on before it will work will not work from any range. just on top of them. also with pet classes they have to be right under the mob to hit attack and get the pets to dps. we have killed felspine in the last couple days and didn't have the issues we are in kedge. so i don't think its a under water issue as much as it is a kedge thing.

Its one of those things. Get in melee range and clear target / retarget.
If using ranged / casters just back up again.
Would be nice if it was fixed in the source but no idea if thats possible.

This issue seems is specific to Titanium and certain custom THF events. I recall events that change PCs into different character models can cause targeted PC health to stop updating as well.

I'd suggest trying a newer client, at least for these types of fights. Chances are you will prefer the newer client features anyway. I can confirm that SoD and UF are unaffected by all this.

The ranged issues may also be unexpected/quirky line of sight issues. The way characters sink, but mobs don't, combined with some odd topography in Kedge is always something to keep in mind. Levitate can be useful in water sometimes.

I am using UnderFoot and the same thing happened to me. The solution Grey offered worked but when I was having the problem, the Pets would not attack either.

I would say the client thing isnt making the differences. I am using titanium where the three other people were using SoD. All of us were having the same issue.

ive seen this on several emu servers, dont think changing your client will help any. best thing ive found to do is get right under it before getting mob on target.


its not that bad once ya get used to it. Can be a headache the 1st time your encounter it though

Thank you for the lev suggestion. that made things a lot easier. we did still have some targeting issue. Found that if you leave target box empty and let the mobs attack you there was no issue. lev helped alot.

This issue should now be resolved. My testing showed that I could target from any range, see the accurate HP, and autoattack would work properly. Please let us know if you find otherwise.
