Fennin Ro event.. need advice / help

Hail ,
First try on Fennin Ro event, killed Warlord Prollaz and Omni Magus Crato ..
then Fennin Ro spawn, but what...a group of Elite guards spawn as well.
My group tried pull 1 Elite guard and my war (with defensive) died in 1-2 sec and all group die in instant...without timer
Any thing my group missing ? or should we avoid Elite guard and direct to Fennin Ro !?

avoid pulling the elite guards altogether. you can pull down the middle of the room without agroing the elite guards on the sides.

I actually have a question about Fennin.

Does anyone know when his adds spawn? I see them pop up two at a time...but it doesn't *seem* to be at any particular health percentage. Are they on a timer?

I've just been too busy playing multiple toons to figure it out so far, the few times I have caught him. Wiped earlier tonight when my healer dropped a heal right as adds spawned. Would be nice to know when they are coming, if anyone has that info.

His adds seem to spawn at a certain %, around 70%, and 30% i think. For me the Fenin fight lasts around 45 seconds when me and Loly both log our toons in so I just burn him and ignore the adds and they all depop once he is dead. I keep a wide-view of the fight and just cywebtools/rampage/ae taunt when adds pop. Never had the adds try to agro my healers. If your tank/dps is considered normal then its probably best just killing the adds as they pop.

It dosent matter if you kill him in 30 seconds or 10 minutes, the number of adds stays the same.

As for pulling fenin, I find the safest way is to pacify 1 guard either side of him, then a good old pull straight out and make sure you dont wander too far away and agro the elite guards. Love this event. Took me a while to learn to box it way back when.

Perhaps I encountered some sort of bug. The time that I mentioned the wipe, there were 6 adds, which was more than I had seen before. Then never got any adds at all the attempt after the recovery. Thanks for the info.

He pops around 2-3 adds per spawn, around 6 in total sounds about right. Unsure if its 3 sets of 2 spawns, or 2 sets of 3. I havent ran through the logs too much as its pretty much trivial encounter for me now so I just ignore the adds.

Think its 3 sets of 2 but if you can burn him fast enough it wont matter.
If your gearing off him then yes expect to deal with 3 sets of 2.
At least thats what I remember back when I needed gear off him.

Pac the guard and killed Fennin Ro then got our group flag to kill Xegony (more easy..)
But still confuse on Elite guard @.@
It seem hit very harder than Fennin Ro....
It is possible to kill with tier 4-5 gear ?

If you agro an elite guard FD or just die, dont run back to your group. They are not meant to be killed. When Fenin dies they will depop.
