SoD /pet hold ?

/pet hold

I know people have problems with it working on the UF client does it work on the SoD client? I am going to try switching to SoD from titanium to see if it resolves some of my recent crashing issues.

Pet hold does work for me using seeds client.
I keep meaning to test /pet focus
Does anyone know if this does or does not work?

Fellow mages I have chatted with say whatever client they have /pet focus is always broken, does nothing.

/pet hold works with Titanium and SoF, and also SoD if I understand you well, it does NOT work with UF client, I tested with Titanium, SoF and UF.

I really hope the "/pet hold Undefoot issue" can be adressed one day as Titanium (and SoF I tested a bit) is really less smooth and more buggy than UF which is fast and rock stable on my machine (i7-2600k W7 64 bits, Titanium seems to dislike !)

I do wish going back to Underfoot I used at start before I leveled and got AAs for its many advantages (UI, bank slots, spell book etc.) but I am forced to stick to Titanium as long /pet hold doesn't work, as a mage I can't live without /pet hold, be it alone because of enraging mobs, not to speak of the danger for group/raid. Let's hope our genious devs find something

Missing /pet focus is an annoyance too btw, especially when your pet tanks several mobs and you need to share aggro.

A tad out of the topic, if it can help mages/necs/bst out there, here two macros which I have found to be quite helpful :

1. As /pet focus doesn't work, I recommend making an attack macro which wipes the hate list each time you send your pet, that way, you have a chance to have it at least tag all mobs on a multifight and not stick on the one which generates the more hate :

line 1 /pet back off
line 2 /pet attack

2. For enrage, just set yourself an audio trigger if you haven't yet and press your macro when it fires off, it will save your pet's butt (and yours...) :

line 1 /pet guard here
line 2 /pet hold

Rejoice petclasses, /pet hold works on SoD client which I use right now, and it is pretty much equivalent in terms of loading speed and stability (on my machine at least) to the Underfoot client

Found part of the issue. Will take me a few days to figure it all out though.

Hold should be fixed with next reboot for UF, I'm not sure about focus, but I'll test it to see if it's working tomorrow morning.

Yes...having /pet focus work (personally, I use Titanium) would be a godsend. That would actually solve every major playing issue that I currently have.
