Just ran a parse today of my necro (webtools/magelo/character.php?char=Sianur)
Used RK2 monk pet with Fear toys, buffed with RK2 spells, lion spirit rk2, gladi 1 + talisman of might.

I had rk2 buffs on me + Death's Entombement rk2 (10% chance to crit dot) + Gladi 1 (27% chance to crit dots) + Power Potential 2 + Curse of Muram (40% chance to crit dot though I am not sure it will stack with others) + Aura of the blood mage + Cry for Blood's buff (improve damage on dots) + mana flare 3 (gotta test with Mana inferno to see a slight improvement)

I used all possible dots : curse of the undeath rk2 + desolate pyre rk2 + cobra venom rk2 + lure of fiery death + dread pyre + chaotic funeral + death stalker. I recasted them as they were fading. Gotta get the Potactics dot to add it.

Between dots I used Bridge Keeper's shield clicky then also nuked with Grasp of the Reaper rk2. Also clicked t8 robe and epic 2.0 + Wake the death + Swarm of decay (Lifeburn was down) but I am not sure this had been taken into consideration.

This parse makes me cry blood because I had hopes it would be much higher when I look at others' parses...Didn't hope to be anywhere close to wiz or so but not THAT far.

Keep in mind anyone who parses over 100k generally has 6 other toons backing them up, from the sounds of it you were completely solo. If a druid click + OP Rk. II and ES Rk. II had been on the mobs, coupled with bard songs / aura's your parse would have been much much higher

While the alla clone doesn't specify it, the spell description in-game states that the druid click affects direct dmg spells, only (though I haven't verified the truth of that). Couple that with dots being unable to trigger Mana Flair/Inferno, ES Rk. I-II and Bard songs are some of the few ways to get more dps out of necros, as far as I can tell.

Well I could be wrong I guess, but I'm fairly certain the druid 2.0 click and overbearing power increase the power of DoT's as well? Necro's are one of the few classes I haven't played so I'm far from an expert on them but I've seen some pretty huge numbers from necro's.

Thanks for comforting me Warlgor, though I have high doubts that I will triple or so my dps (knowing that my pet did actually a third of the overall dmg and won't really be affected by other's support).
Gotta check with druid epic 2.0 (it does work as far as I know), chanter and bard...Will do that and parse later.

I just checked, Overbearing Power does increase the damage on my enchanter's DoT, I don't see why it wouldn't help necro's, and it also leads me to believe the druid 2.0 / donor would increase it as well. Also Sian, Euphoric Spasm Rk II increases melee damage which I believe includes pets DPS, as they hit melee. Also, Aura of the gylph wielder / aura of the blood mage increase spell damage, and I also just confirmed that those effect DoT's.

Support from other classes will increase your DPS a lot more than you think, you should get those two aura's I mentioned and find a nice druid / enchanter to help you, parse again and post it. I guarantee it will be at the very least double.

Edit: also, animal power clicky (intensity of the resolute) I know helps necro's considerably, and I don't believe you mentioned you used that.

Edit 2: I also just confirmed that Euphoric Spasm does in fact increase pet damage.

I had aura of the bloodmage, as I mentionned :) Didn't use Intensify of the resolute it's true.
But even if it will augment, I doubt, though I may (and hope) be wrong, to reach something close to 80k or something.
We will see :)
Thanks for the time spent at trying to find out what to use for me :)

Druid's epic 2.0 debuff will boost DoT dmg as well. You also didn';t have bard songs that I could see.

If 80k is your goal, you should be able to get about 82k dps doing the same setup and rotation as before just throw in Slayer's Destiny (42%) and druid debuff (65%).

You also have room for improvement by doing the vale ring quest and getting Power Potential 3 clicky.

Might want to consider the longer term as well. Next time you guys update to a more recent emu revision, unless you are at the point where you can stay current, some classes are going to take a hit.
