Augment advice for a sexy warrior.

Hi guys
I generally don't like to ask something here about augmenting stuff because I think it's very...personnal in a way, depends the way you want to play but here I am now, with some questions
Just bought Rizoel Blade of the Angel and wielding Turkaz the Dark and Vizcara the Twin biter .

I thus need to change my setup so got several questions :
1) Better to wield donor + 1hb or 1hs ? The 1hb got 25 more ac and better "look" somehow.

2) What augments should I put and where ? Here is the list :

Curse of Vampire x2
Emblem of Strength
Flawed Stone of Mortality
Talon of corruption
Sour Marschmallow Candy Corn
Compressed Iron
PoA lifetap augment
PoA hate augment
Awesome sharp stone
Frozen Heart of the Lich

My idea :
Donor with Frozen Hear of the Lich, Talon of Corruption, Sour Marschmallow, Curse of the Vampire, Emblem of Strength.
Vizcara the Twin biter with PoA hate and lifetap augment, Curse of Vampire, Compressed Iron.
So it would make good ac and all in all : donor hate proc, 3 KoL2 proc, 2 KoL proc, Real anger proc, Fire proc.

Someone wise told me to :
- skip Sour marschmallow to put another PoA lifetap instead but that's less "dmg" and ac, but another proc of course
- replace Frozen Heart of the Lich by Awesome sharp stone.
- use the 1hs instead of the 1hb.

I have good t8 non-donor stuff (besides the weapon I just bought and haven't equiped yet) but I'm "just" at 11k unbuffed without aura.

3) Any gm (*winks at Vaion*) could tell me if there is a proc rate difference between Frozen Heart of the Lich and Awesome sharp stone ?

Hard to answer this in a way that wont start and arguement. Simpliest thing it so look at other warriors and see how their augs are set up on their weapons. You will begin to see a pattern amoung the higer end guilds. That is what I did when I auged my weapons on Otho..

Yeah well that's what I used to do : taking examples over Chrom and Bear (very skilled and best non donor tank afaik) for example
But we don't have the same weapons (yet) and maybe not the same augments too. Got Chrom's point of view already, wanted to have other's highend tanks opinion.

My suggestion would be to put as much AC in your weapons as possible, if you aren't above 16k.

The augments I use may look a little strange; however I've set mine up with the following thought in mind:

Primary - Max white damage DPS for threat generation - this can be quite substantial with voice of thule etc. Procs are nice, but other than Atorias, they don't really do much end game since you're being quadded for 8k. A good chunk of them get resusted.

Secondary - I have this weapon filled with augments that can go on my back. Previously the T8 bosses were much more difficult and I would swap my sword/shield to reduce riposte damage. If you're having trouble tanking T8's, it's a good way to help mitigate some of the damage.

Thanks fitz, it helps me and comforts me in the way I thought since I'm waaaaaaaaaaay under 16k. Guess I will do my setup at I mentionned.
Any ideas if there is an actual benefit in using the 1hs in secondary instead of the 1hb ? This question will be obsolete when I get Vistrinda's weapon but with Halloween we stopped at Kerani so I guess it will take us some time before we finish Nadox AND get the sword to drop when I'm there.

There's no real bonus for using 1hs over 1hb, unless you have the +% mod for slashing and not blunt.

I was reading these tips seeing where and how I might able to improve my tank when I read this:

I would swap my sword/shield to reduce riposte damage.

Dual wielding classes all have an aa that makes their offhand 100% unable to trigger a riposte, if I remember correctly. That being said, do/did you do it for added shield blocks or still to reduce offhand ripostes?

Odd - I know the Slippery Attacks AA reduces riposte on offhand chances. Oddly enough I did notice a considerable difference swapping to a shield in the offhand. The only reason we did this some time back was because Draekon used to be a beast and would decimate us in one round. By keeping attack off and throwing a shield in the offhand, you'd reduce incoming damage significantly.

I'll have to aug up my offhand again and give it a try
