some thoughts on Rangers

been playing a ranger here for over a year and here's some stuff that's been on my mind/general observations:

-ranger heal is useless aside from powerleveling (which is probably the way it should be)
-there no short-cooldown upgrade to the frost DD (Ancient North Wind)
-there is no level 70+ DoT
-Brell's blocks our self and group buffs
-Empowering Water overwrites T6 chest illusion
-Empowering Water has a painfully short duration
-not enough variety in bows (pretty much linear progression from ToV -> HoH) and they are all pretty similar. there probably isn't a need for more variation.
-fletching doesn't have much to offer aside from rubicite arrows (which can be replaced from T3 or T6 dropped arrows). I haven't researched this all too much so I could be dead wrong
-I think that half-damage is too heavy of a penalty for rooted mobs
-where does the "Windcaller" title come from?

disclaimer: I'm not looking to get any changes made, these are just some general things I've noticed and I'm wondering if anyone would comment.

i'll comment on a few of the points

brells conflict - this is intended as it is a choice, do you want the more defensive brells buff, or use the more offensive ranger buff

Empowering Water overwrites T6 chest illusion - emp water 4 gives +175% min dmg mod, and dark diplomat is only +100%. Emp water is stronger so it overwrites.

Emp Water short duration - this is also intended as it is like similar to a dps disc that be given to yourself and others as well. It is not meant to be kept on all the time, unless you want to contuine to rebuff it, but rather for boss fights or other times when you and your group needs a dps boost.

I agree that another crafted arrow would be cool.

half dmg is just the norm for perma rooted mobs for rangers

Late reply but here goes -

Sticky already addressed alot of points - some open points are already on the list (arrow, spell) some things (duration of EmpWater, rooted mob damage) are working as intended.
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed
