I very noobishly fly RC helis. I have a blade CX2 and a Blade SR...never had a successful flight in the SR, talking with a couple more advanced friends they have not had great luck with it either compared to their other CP helis.

The CX2 and SR are much harder to control, If you really want to get into the hobby check out the Blade MCPX its a CP heli that is great for trainers, The Flybarless systems make it much easier for new people to learn on than that of the CX or SR witch is mechanical system.

Thanks for the link ;)

I have a blade mCP X with a spectrum DX6i remote. Helluva lot of fun but I still haven't been able to fly upside down. Gave me a nice scar on the inside of my leg too one day when I lost control.

Inverted is not to hard, Need to be in Idle up.
Get a nice steady hover, add some positive pitch so you bounce up while your learning, Then 0 pitch and roll, as you come out of the roll start applying negative pitch.

Been flying every chance I can.

Warbeat, have u messed with your settings on DX6i (For your DR/EXPO settings, It will make it roll faster or slower depending on how you configure it.)

Oh, I've played with every setting on my Dx6i. It allowed me to use the heli as if it was a fixed pitch version till I got comfortable. Now I run it as it was designed which is constant speed and changing pitch. Much easier once I got the hang of it.
