The completely derailed DSK3 feedback thread

Seeing as how this has become a 3 page derail.. I'm making a new one

I am disappointed that the Map for DSK3 is 25k Godly Points. 500 pts for Weapons, 1k for nec/ring/ear, 3k for each armor piece, 10k for type 16 augs, 15k for Chaos access. Now 25k for the Map for every toon?

In my opinion less that 5% of the server will ever see DSK3. But again its just my opinion.

IMHO it seems more then reasonable I mean Chaos is 15k T9 is 25k there not to far off and more then 5% is already flagged for the zone Also keep in mind were this may seem high to newer players into HoH this zone has been out for 2 years in the next 1-2 weeks. DSK3 from what I see you don't need any other flags IE Chaos or Vistindra kills so really you could get into DSK3 without Xeru kill or 1 HoH/Nadox raid event complete, that makes this flag rather easy to attend after some work cause hey it shouldn't be to easy it is T9.

if you are ready for T9 , then you are able to clear nadox in less then 45min, with x2 potions it's something like 2700 Djins points each run. add the Hoh named + the tokens dropped there and the people farming trash non stop in hoh and you can get flagged in like 3 weeks easily.
and I'm 99% sure there will be some kind of backflagging tokens once T9 get destroyed.

I'm going to humor this topic only once...

When Dreadspire was released, people complained because you had to do all DSK1 events multiple times to flag a raid since only 3 heads dropped at a time.
When HoH launched, people complained because they had to go back and farm lower tiers for the quest pieces. Then they complained more because Herox was nearly permanently camped.
DSK3 launches and people complain cause the godly point price is steep.

Everytime a new zone launches, people are going to complain. At times we will adjust some of the requirements to make the zone a little easier to gain access to, but in the case of DSK3 there is only one requirement. Is the price high? Yeah, it's the top raid zone. Will they be a backflag similar to the lower tier tokens? Yes, it comes from the final boss of the zone.

Do we understand some of the frustration? Sure, we know how much of an annoyance it is to farm HoH for the godly points. However, like other in this thread have mentioned. HoH has been out for 2+ years. So for a player who has been in the zone for a period of time (2 months on average) then the price is completely reasonable. As already mentioned, you can pull nearly 1500-3000 godly points out of a full Nadox clear in as little as an hour. So within 16-20 full clears (respawn is 24 hours on events, 2-4 hours on trash) you could flag an entire guild for DSK3. That to the dev team is 100% reasonable and doable with a little time and dedication.

Even if I would have happier with a regular quest or kill flags, I don't think that 25k is too expensive and people, especially those who haven't defeated Chaos and Vistrinda yet, should be happy because as previously mentionned, it's the final zone, without any other requirement than being hoh flagged.
Chaos is 15k, it's normal that t9 is 25k.
I don't say that I'm happy since I had spent all my points few weeks before, but that price is not out of proportion if you want to wipe in a new zone

Well I'm pretty new to the zone, i got my reaper kill finished about 30 seconds before the server went down on Sunday for DSK3. On Monday I logged on and found out I need to farm points for the Map, it took me until Wednesday to gain the required points. So all in all if you're willing to bust your ass for a few days (can even slack afk for some of it too ) its not too bad.

Anyway just my 2 cents and to give a bit of perspective.

It's a horrible grind, but it's reasonable IMO. A lot of people are happy to AFK carry people providing they have pulled their weight in the raid before they AFK. Don't join a raid and AFK straight away coz that's out of order. Work hard for some time and people are happy to let you AFK.
