Bard Donor BP stacking issue with WoS pet buff.

I felt like this thread could use a fresh response from someone else for a change....this round robbin stalker-ish stuff is funny looking from the outside looking in =-)

It is quite odd that a combat ability is over writing a spell buff.

it is isn't it? I must be losing my mind or something, hehe.

It would be like a bard's mana song over writing an enchanters mana regen buff.
But like all Americans (country near Kelethin for the non-wood elf types), if it isn't affecting me, then it doesnt exist.

Are there any other combat abilities that overwrite spell buffs? I've not run into this on any of the other couple characters I play.

I don't mind Beatboxin stalking me. He's bumping my post.

It's strange for sure. It would be like a defensive disc overwriting Unwavering Faith (cleric spell) - probably wasn't intended to be this way.

Strange or not, this thread was made in July Warbeat, so they're either working on a fix by now or they aren't. Or they're just tired of hearing about it since WoS pets not stacking with various things has been brought up about 1,237,589 times now.

If you can't offer positive information, please keep your negativity to yourselves. I'm surprised that anyone here asks questions or reports problems given how some members here respond to those threads.

I understand the devs are busy and don't see every thread. That's why I felt that it didn't harm anyone by bumping my thread and possibly getting some feedback.

Sept 8th 2012 - I reported a stacking problem with death march IV and mage donor buff.
Sept 8th 2012 - A member offered a workaround using non-titanium and buff blocking.
Oct 12th 2012 - I bumped my thread with more information.

Jul 23rd 2013 - A member reported the same problem.
Jul 23rd 2013 - Longfeathers points this member to my thread with the work around.
Jul 23rd 2013 - Vaion acknowledged the problem and said he'd look into it.

Threads can sometimes be missed. It's human. Nothing is wrong with reiterating a problem on an existing thread. If I had done what I should have, this problem might have been seen 10 months earlier.
