New Spelleffects

Now that Striat fixed and implemented a lot of spell effects like Triplebackstab etc, would you rather want the Ancient Weaopns to be redesigned to their old spell effects or leave them as they are?
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed

Long time I did not post :)
Nothing could replace the mod you put on Wiz 2.0 (mana cost reduction on Ether) but you may replace the useless "Effect: Sorcerer's Guard of Perception" with one of the new effect.

Nevertheless, I would appreciate that you redisign Shield of the sleeper as it has been done when you implemented it: +% Critic spell. Even if I appreciate being lucky enough to get a 68K critic, I would definitly prefer a permanent +% critic.

voted no for same reason as lillu, also i believe my ancient frozen is the same effect as live just faster recast

Sticky situation Loly. The shield isn't only for int casters but also for healers, and the nuke is really nice for them whereas a % crit chance to nukes would do pretty much nothing for them. Maybe give the 2.0 click a slight crit percentage chance, but wizards are already really really powerful with the ether flame boost, nice foci on 2.0 to make it cost less mana etc so tread softly!

I'd love to see some more recent parses from you before they do anything, Loly. Monkz/Billaski seem to average 3kish DPS (with full buffs, not discing) with 2.5, ST weaps, ST augs. Hard to know what to give to who if you're not sure how they're already doing, you know what i mean?

But yeah, I voted no. I have a few reasons.

Monk 2.0: Much better clicky than the original, who needs stun when everything is immune? It was nothing more than extra aggro that wasnt needed.

Ranger 2.0: I really like the raw dmg boost along with the increased crit chance that rangers get. I like the new effect a lot.

Rogue 2.0: Their proc is like the monk one, but better due to more dmg + (much) harder to resist, as it should be.

Shaman 2.0: The click is just amazing now. The proc helps the group out so much, sure it's easy to resist but I still wouldn't want to change it for the original click.

Am I missing any? I think those are the only items with custom clickies other than mage/necro which of course need their upgraded pets as clicks.

How about instead of asking about changing them back maybe ask about fully customizing all epic clicks (or most?). That way the server would have nearly full custom epics.

PS: I wouldn't want to change the cleric one though!

hehe maybe I am just bias then. The 800 HP on the war epic is nice, but 800HP isn't what it used to be! Also, the 2nd part of it (increased resist rate) doesn't work it seems. There's no error or anything when I cast, but I notice no difference in resist rates.

Hey - Bard is also custom (and took longest to figure out - thx again Shin ;))

I understand the point Jeido and I do not complain. I just say that when shield was designed originally it was a +4% crtic spell focii for both nuke & dots (replaced now by a nuke every 20min).

Healers already got a way to deal dmg (ST Face item, PoF Primary), i do not think that this shield should remain as it is just because healers need more nuke clicky items.

If Int casters have some power now, it is mainly because I did not give up to argue and finally Tyler gave us some power (2.0 focii, writ of dragonkind). Regarding the 2.0 it was just a way to not make Wizzy useless 2min every 5 min (compared to lee monk or rangers who do not suffer from OOM issue). And EVEN with with the 2.0 focii I HAD to requier changes on mana gathering items.

Once again Wizard should on top Dps and I am far from 3K even now with all working aa's and really well geared.

My purpose of this eq server is to have fun, to enjoy the crew you play with, to beat challenges and finally to improve your characters & stuff. I have pain to enjoy the last 2 ones with broken aa's and I feel very tired having to argue every single request.

I cannot play atm because I moved to a new flat and I miss the game. I would like to get some news things AS all others class / players have when I return, and I really do not think that I ask for "Godmode"...
