[Guide] Leveling a second account with your main imho.

Hello,

New to THF, and having a blast so far. Decided to share how I leveled my 2nd account cleric. Hopefully someone will benefit from this.

So you got to 70 and all the sudden everything is smacking you around? Have the processor to run 2 Clients? Well then, you're in the right place.

Personally, I run 2 800x600 Windows with 35% Far Clip Plane and spell effects off.

Start by taking your 70 Main over to the Buff cleric and say buff (this allows you level 70 buffs no matter how far you de-level).

Next, head to the de-leveling merchant and make him level 1. (Do not lose the leaf, you need it to change back to 70).

Go to the normal zones teleporter and say warrens with both characters.

slaughter the zone all the way to the king, this should get you around level 21.

exit warrens to Stoneburnt Mountains. hunt down yellow/red cons (track is a lifesaver here). This should get you to level 35.

spawn a druid bot and #bot gate dawnshroud.

kill wolfs and rockhopper cave to level 45.

head to maidens eye, pulling mobs to the zone in. This should get you to 51.

turn in your level leaf on your 70, head back to the buff cleric and say buff,
then de-level to 55.

head to karnors castle and kill.

that's all I got so far, I'll clean up and format when I have some time.

How to get to Rotting high level armor drops:

Get the Invis vs. Undead ring from Crushbone quest. Summon a wizard bot.
Click the ring to undead invis ring right as you do tell the bot to:
#bot invis live

Double invis for running anywhere without see invis.

Avoiding 99% of Bot summon Stubborness:

When grouping a bot with other players use this method:

Char 1 and 2 out of group.
Char 1 summon bot, add bot to group.
Char 1 invite char 2.
form up.

I forget who told me this method but I will add credit when I find out.

Party Leadership Benefits thing

For whatever reason it is not active when you form the group the first time.

Let's say Char 1 has leadership bonuses, he summons his bot, invites the bot, forms group. Invites Char 2. Once Char 2 joins, you must /makeleader Char 2, then on Char 2 do a /makeleader Char 1. This activates the leadership benefits for some strange reason.

Just a trio of tips that may help.

Tip: Before deleveling, group up with your new character before buffing. Your level 1 character will also get the same buffs and full duration.

Tip: You loose all active xp in level 70 when you delevel.

Tip: The Chaotic Executioner's Hood goes a long way in power-leveling. You can't wear it, but you can click it at level 1 and get the 40 pt damage shield. If your main is any type of healer, it'll probably be faster just to DS power-level yourself.

I use a similar method to Koeril

group with my 70 and raid buff new toon via bots. run through crushbone (about 10 minutes to get to 25)

head to city then and take my cleric (same raid buffs & ds) Slap a HoT on new toon and watch the carnage.

around 48 i think you can group with a level 70. At that point i load up my monk and leave new toon at zone entrance and slaughter everything. at 55 off to valor tilll new toon is 70.

takes after you reach valor takes about 2-4 hours to hit 70

i cheat big time with power leveling lol

for leveling i use mugly for regen,buffs,panther,2.0 shm clicky for insane dmg

for farming rots i use sarcon and just CoH the toon around to corpses lol

but just a tip though i found a rune through Crystal caverns at around 25 will take you to upper 30s which is suitable for guk (guk really is good exp even though its tougher)

A level 1 + Scarlet Desert + shaman buffs = level 45 about 15-20 minutes later. I've helped others level toons past 55 and this is definitely the fastest that I've found.

2 hours usually yields around level 56-58. I did this randomly with strangers I recruited from Crushbone and recently did this with a guildmate's new warrior alt after having perfected the art.

The downside to this, of course, is that you sidestep armor collection. Then again, if you're 55+ you can roll in Crushbone (just stay OFF the trainer hill!) and ease your way into CoM/Guk/Seb etc.

I am about to lvl up a cleric for boxing purposes. Can we still de-level? I thought it was disabled some time back.

De-leveling was removed, but the chaotic exec hood still works.
