Lack of Shoulder Slot Items?

It could just be me, but I've got a 70 Cleric with 61AA and a 70 Ranger with 110+ AA neither one of them have shoulder slot items they don't seem to drop in the normal progression of content.

Or have I just had horrible luck?

You're hitting your ceiling of progression without having a raiding guild. Your next tier of progression would be Ssra, you could possibly do the basement, but I doubt it. If you can't do Kael trash by yourself, forget about Ssra named. Remember also that you can't do direct replacements as you'll always be loosing something - you'll need to replace a selection of items if you ever want to upgrade and sometimes staying with an older item is more ideal.

Wow, well you're right there are no shoulder items in Sebilis for melee now it seems. The shoulder for melee used to be this, and it used to drop off the sebilite protector. It seems that his loot table was changed though, and he now drops items that should be dropping from Djarn O_0

Your cleric has hope though, try killing Blood of Chotal or the Emperor in Sebilis. They drop these shoulders, a shoulder item which will be one of the only extended ranged items you can get for a while.

I guess if you really want a slot filler for your ranger you can try to get these from Guk or KC.

Maybe try Chardok for this? but being lvl 70 with 61 AA I would deffinately join a guild :p

anyways, adventure system will offer some very nice item soon! and you'll be able to obtain anything on your own (2 boxing at least).

Yeah I've been running accounts: Ranger, Cleric, Shaman and summoning a Paladin BOT who is about equal to my ranger in gear. I think I need to adjust my tactics for Chardok though I really really want a Sarnak Bow of Fame so my bow does more damage when I'm 3 boxing.

I wanted to test Kilmer's leveling tactic so I ran a warrior with his shaman and got it to 70 in about 6 hours. I think the defensive from the warrior would open up a lot of opportunities but that would leave me with Warrior, Cleric, Shaman Rogue BOT? After seeing Jerant's Rogue Hans and his Rogue BOT the dps was around 1,000 on PoFire trash mobs. I parsed in at around 500 on most fights for melee on ranger. I realize there's a gross gear difference but maybe the Rogue BOT would give me more DPS then my actual active ranger.

Its either that or I try 3 Beastlord or 3 Magician with a Cleric BOT. I don't know, so many possibilities on this server, I'm definitely enjoying myself.
