The Hidden Forest Team would like to announce the unveiling of the latest raid zone: Vex Thal! Cloaked in powerful and ancient lore, the ancient Akhevan temple has been consumed by a powerful force that has driven the Akhevan's from being the dominant race on the moon of Luclin, to nothing more than refugees. Lately, rumors have spread of a brilliant star that fell from the Moon and crashed into the forests of Faydwer. Lady Adrianna has once again raised the banners of her Defenders and call upon them to investigate the disturbances.
Vex Thal Features:
- o Original Key Quest! That's right, you all know you love it! The original Vex Thal key quest has been refurbished slightly and activated. Some things remain the same, while a couple have changed.
o New Class Armors: Upgraded versions of both Halls of Honor and Dreadspire Armors are available.
o New and Powerful Items: Over 100 new powerful items are available to find. Many include unique Worn v2 effects that can only be found within Vex Thal!
o New Raid Events: The first release of Vex Thal includes 6 all new raid events! Each event has a 20 hour lockout to prevent the "push-back" syndrome!
o New Zone/Raid Mechanics: Vex Thal is limited to 36 players total and instead of using the normal guild instance system, Vex Thal is designed to use a raid instance system allowing multiple guilds and players the opportunity to raid together!
o New Lockout Mechanics: Each player now has their own lockouts associated with their character. Events will spawn and/or despawn depending on which lockouts players have as a whole when zoning into Vex Thal.
o Zone Wide Events: A new zone wide event has been added where players must complete certain tasks before being able to progress further into Vex Thal!
Spells:
o Blight of Hate and Sorrow Song can no longer be dispelled.
Items:
o Bone Encrusted Breastplate's skill modifier changed from Dodge +18% to Defense +18%.
Misc:
o Fixed some description errors for a few AA's.
o SoDClientUseSoDHPManaEnd server side rule is enabled now. This will allow SoD clients to use the SoD HP/Mana/End formulas while previous clients will use the old formulas.
