doing something wrong or just not a good player?

Hi THF crew,

I am around level 23 and learning to 2 box monk/shaman again, usually with a cleric bot.
I am trying to do the first quests in Crushbone and Paludal.

In Crushbone I can't even seem to break into the throne room. I tend to have trouble if I get 2 or more champions or stompers, they are still red to me.
Everything else in the zone is green.

In Paludal I can get through the zone with ease, but man, the named goblin for the quest, Rowlie or something. I couldn't even put a dent in his HP. Anytime I would he would regen almost immediately.

Any suggestions or should I just level up more somewhere else then come back? He is red to me as well.

We have double exp running, so I assume you are under-geared to your level (too fast leveling). Try to farm some more gear before progressing any further.

The named goblins for the charm quests are much more difficult than anything else in those zones and aren't really meant to be killed while you are leveling in there. Honestly I'd wait until you are 70 before you start the charm quests.

^ What those guys said. If you need to afk for dinner, I highly recommend you have your characters auto-attack a dummy in the forest/guild hall to get some much need skill-ups. In terms of what quest gear you can get right now, be sure to check out the wiki: wiki/index.php/Zones_1-30

Don't forget to get buffed by Sune in THF and you can also try to have some high lvl char put some high end buff on you

Having just went through there myself, keep in mind that without the buffs from Sune you are much weaker. As others said, you're probably a bit undergeared, but the buffs mean so much more.

I think I was 28ish before I pulled Emperor with ease.

I did get my epic 1.0
I have definitely been using the buffs from whats her name.
I have been getting gear as I can. So far I think I have feet, arms, hands and wrists. I cant seem to find much else.

Changing my approach around a little I think.

I just leveled up a Wizzy and am thinking about getting a tank too, although not sure I can handle 4 boxing.

well first off did you buy all the armor from the vendors next to banker in forest?, i solo'd my way up to 70 as a monk with a shaman bot... also the faded armor patterns will have a piece for every armor slot you have, the BP / Legs will drop from the named guys in zone.

also instead of breaking into throne room, id try to single/double pull the champions and stompers from the Thurg camp where skullcracker spawns so you can lvl up....
