MQ2Melee question

I thought I'd ask here before I go to the mq2melee forums since it directly applies here.

Anyone know how to configure mq2melee to set your characters to NOT assist a certain character?

I've just got to down Redfang two more times but it's proving easier said than done. My lame toon army keeps trying to assist my SK who is tanking Redfang in his room and it's annoying and usually ends up with me failing due to someone making their away around the corner and finishing off Redfang.

Toons will only attack who you tell them to. If they are running after redfang, it's because you directed them to target your sk's target and attack.

Check your hotkeys first. Pets, on the other hand, sometimes have a mind of their own and will jump between targets. To fix that you need the aa that allows them to focus. This will make them attack only what and when you tell them.

What Rasj said :P mq2melee doesn't have any built in assist feature that I know of. Either a macro you're using is sending your toon(s) after Redfang without your permission or you're sending them there with a hotkey or something.

However, if not running a macro that is doing this and you accidentally press a hotkey that sends your army after a target that you don't want them to, "/melee reset" will stop attack and all automated mq2melee functions. It might be worth making a "/bcaa //melee reset" social in case of mishap.

It was my mistake. I've been experimenting with different eq versions in different folders and got all my ini files borked.
