RoF2

I know it says that the THF installer isn't ready for RoF2, but if we manually update the client with the custom files are we able to log onto the test server with it?

When I last tried it wouldn't let me past chat select

Yeah, it's a server side thing which is disabled ATM.

I am logged in to the Test server with RoF2.

Did nothing special. Just tried it. I have not copied all of the files over but if you grab the spells file it is playable.

Maybe V enabled RoF2 on test server for now but on live, RoF2 support won't be available right away with the new code. It needs to be heavily tested before.

Aye. I might have moved over most of the custom files (skipped the UI ones) and gone for a spin.

So Far.... to quote the Lego movie... EVERYTHING is AWESOME!!!

Playing with the click from inside a bag and changing out augs without that birdbath... pretty sweet.

Please keep in mind that some features will not be enabled for RoF2. Also, please test with UF client preferably for now because that will be the primary client when the new code goes live. RoF2 support and features will come in time.

Oh yeah. The RoF2 was just a wheeee look it's fun. That and it seems to use about 1/2 the memory UF does - which is also nice on my old tired laptop lol.


Only beta testing with UF.

Aye, the ultimate goal is RoF2 support and to adapt some of the new and nice features. :)

Yeah would love to see RoF support here on THF. I know it takes time to test and build, but it really would be nice to use 1 client to log in to my normal EQEMU servers and have it be supported by the patcher.

Besides I love clicking things in bags.
