When I'm in VT courtyard and die, camp or otherwise go to character screen and then come back into the CY my lag goes up to 1000 or more.


BUT, if instead, I just leave that instance of EQ entirely and start it up from scratch I come back into the courtyard with my normal lag of 215 -220.

So to spell this out, say I camp, go to character select, quit that EQ instance and then restart it, lag is good. If instead I just enter world again, lag is terrible.

Any ideas on why this would be and why it seems to be particularly bad in VT courtyard?

That's pretty weird. If you don't mind testing:

Does this happen to you, in VT, when you're not in the court yard? Or in any other zone, for that matter.

so far only in VT.... I'll keep checking.
