Bard Mez - Emp Sev

Been getting a crazy amount of resists using Vulka's Lullaby on the mezzable adds during the Emp Sev event, as well as a good amount on my enchanter's Rk. III mez. Started right after the donor update. Has it always been that way and I just never noticed?

On a semi related note, my enchanter has been getting a brief stun after casting mez, and not just in HoH. VT as well. Doesn't happen to the clickable mez.

All that seems normal to me, and was occuring prior to the donor update :P

The stun you are noticing is the 20% proc of Euphoric Mist off of the Euphoric Bliss spell. It's a 100m range aoe mez that hits the caster as well. I'm not sure if this is intended, but it's super annoying.

Would be great if it didn't affect the caster.

Ouch, didn't know that about the T8 mez (the AE hitting enchanter). Rarely had cause to use it. The free level 69 mez lasts the same length (1 minute) and mezzes mobs up to 1 level below what the T8 does, though it doesn't have as good a resist modifier as the T8 mez. Still, wrath of the phantasmist IV and 2.0 clicky and I've never had anything resist anything.

Euphoric Mist really makes mezzing suck for chanters at times, as it has a decent range to it and triggers often.

The AoE triggered effect is actually pretty handy for crowd control, allowing for a single enchanter to handle multiple mez targets just a tad easier, , but is annoying and risky to use when the enchanter suffers a brief "stun". Some events have very little wiggle room, like the cleric 3.0 abyss keeper event. Chain FD AoE from the boss already made it difficult enough, but then missing a mez rotation because your enchanter "stunned" himself, makes it fairly stressful. But again, the AoE triggered mez can make that event doable with just 1 enchanter and lucky procs on cast, so it's a pretty rough trade off.
