Lucid Stein of Falling Tears

Just noticed today that the focus effect on this item isn't working properly. While it does give shorter cast times there is actually a slight delay from when the cast is finished to when the spell actually fires. From my rough time keeping abilities it seems it is equal to the original cast time.

This does not seem to be the case with the other dark quickening item i have. Hand of Holy Temperance. I only noticed the problem when unequipping the hand slot.

I think you are seeing a desync between real and in-game cast times which is a minor visual bug for a while now. It only affects cast times lower than 5 sec or so.
As for the worn effects, if a given worn effect works properly on one item, it will always work the same way for any other item with the same worn effect.

I've been testing this all day and even have called in reinforcements to tell me if I'm crazy or not. For a spell with a 3 second cast time there is a major disparity between using Stein vs using Holy Hand of Temperance. Using the stein I'm getting the same results as not using anything at all.

If you want you and I can time it together to see if the numbers are the same. It's not a visual bug and it only affects one item as far as I can tell.

I got out my stopwatch and measured the cast times on it, Akumu seems to be right. The focus effect doesnt seem to be working. I have the stein on my Necro, but have an aug with the effect also and I cast correct times (according to stop watch and spell cast time)

What spell(s) did you use to test the Dark Quickening, assuming it's what we are talking about?

Same deal on the Shawl of Veeshan. There is a delay after the spell cast timer runs out to when the spell actually casts. It isn't lag or desync, it is a repeatable error that happens every time. This happens on both my clerics so I have to use an alternative swiftness focus item to get rid of the effect. Yes, when another swiftness item is added the problem goes away, take that item away and rely on the Shawl of Veeshan and the problem returns with your next cast. For my testing, only healing spells were used.

Nothing about this issue is on someones personal computer or is a problem with their internet connection.

We'll have a potential fix for this with next reboot.
