My best geared Mage, Mchawi, using the Rk III spells and Rk III pet gear. Nobody helping here...no bard, no druid debuffs etc.

She has the donor BP and hence donor pet, that's her only donor item.




37,401.2 dps mostly from her pet. Added pets are from chain casting Bolt of Flaming Stone Rk. III

This is considerably less than the type of damage a rogue, zerker or ranger can do but I think the important thing with pets is that they do it on every mob you send them in on, not just an occasional burst on a boss but over and over on everything that you encounter.

For necro/mage, donor weapon > donor robe. Rank 3 pet with weapon buff will put out 70k+ on debuffed mobs with raid buffs. Of course it takes a while to get to the point where you get rank 3 pet, so the robe is a quick fix for low tier players. Plus, if you add robe + weapon, sick. The donor pet focus aug is pretty useless though, at least with rk 3 pet. It's exactly identical to Dark Minion except donor adds another few thousand HP (no level/dps increase).

390k dps with tier 1 parser

My parses using the dummies have become wildly inaccurate. No idea what has changed. My fps is 200, no filters are loaded with macroquest, and no filters are used on eq (UF client).

Here is a parse, among many with Boosted, showing the dps the dummy gave and the dps done on the log file of this fight with Gamparse.


DPS according to the dummy is 1746 DPS with total damage of 314282
According to Gamparse DPS is 240,501 with a total damage of 43,772,861

Even with Gamparse this DPS seems rather low --- donor chest, legs, and weapon are all clicked.

Let me know if you are also having similar problems or, if not, would be happy to have some suggestions to get my parses back on track.

death march, raid auras ( no donor aura )

my ping is 350~400ms everytime

I am perplexed particularly at the disparity between the Parses by the dummy and Gamparse. I'll keep investigating this, it seems as if the dummy is not recording major types of damage for some reason.

The aug, Symbol of Rhea, has been identified as responsible for the huge decrease in reported dps by the dummy Atcho compared to what is reported by Gamparse. Several hours of testing using my rogue, Kisu, zeroed in on this aug. To summarise the evidence:

1. Removal of both the aug, Stone of Lost Memories, and the aug, Symbol of Rhea, from Kisu's mainhand resulted in the parse by Atcho being very similar to that provided by Gamparse.

2. Replacement of the aug, Stone of Lost Memories, but NOT the aug, Symbol of Rhea, from Kisu's mainhand resulted in the parse by Atcho being very similar to that provided by Gamparse.

3. Replacement of the aug, Symbol of Rhea, but NOT the aug,Stone of Lost Memories, from Kisu's mainhand resulted in the parse by Atcho being a tiny fraction to that provided by Gamparse, 14k on the dummy 324k on Gamparse

Here are the comparison parses:

1. Both the Stone of Lost Memories, and the Symbol of Rhea, removed from Kisu's mainhand



2. Just the Stone of Lost Memories replaced in Kisu's mainhand



3. Just the Symbol of Rheas replaced in Kisu's mainhand
