Natimbi The Broken Shores

There are a lot of weird glitches going on in Natimbi. I tried to play here several times with my sister, but she couldn't see me and I couldn't see her. We could see each other's bots, though. When we would attack mobs, it would appear that nothing was happening on the screen, but damage would still be dealt according to the chat window and our HP. We tried zoning out and back in to no avail. Sometimes we could see each other's characters, but we weren't able to cast buffs on each other. When we tried, nothing would happen. It's too bad, this is one of my favorite zones.

I'd assume you have already tried this, but make sure your computers both have the old active X redist 9.0c June 2010, located here:

If Windows 8/10 installer says you have a newer version, extract the cab with 7zip/Winrar to a folder and locate the "DXSetup.exe" and run with administrator privileges. (this solves a ton of glitches)

If that doesn't work, launch the THF Patcher found here:

viewtopic.php?f=37&t=10393

...and run that with Admin privileges... If that doesn't fix your issue...

Try downloading this zip, extract it, and then drop the files in your EQ root directory folder. These are all working files, maybe you have a corrupted installation file in one or both PCs:

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, I tried all of the steps, and still I'm having the same problems. Not sure what the issue is at this point.

*Update* We've been able to play in Natimbi for the past few days without any issues. I think the DirectX update has something to do with it. Thanks!
