First off id like to say the illusion is by far the best illusion ive laid eyes on in everquest. The level of detail the weapon flips etc this thing is awesome!


Suggestion: Well seeing how rare this item actually is most rare / quested illusion items have a skill mod dmg modifier added. Any chance this rare drop illusion could also add the damage mod to min skills 100% and 9% mana reduction to spells like all others? I am sure this item is only farmed for the illusion but be neat to actually use it over Dark diplomat illusion for the damage mod added. Or perhaps the rarity of it have tad better then dark diplomat worn buff effects?

Almost none of the rare or quested illusion items have any type of worn effect. The froglok ring and the BPs with the dark diplomat which do have worn effects aren't rare at all nor are they quested. The Band of the Leopard which is by far the most rare droppable illusion does absolutely nothing except make you look like a snow leopard. Same for the Pegasus Nostril. The Blood Raven illusion also does nothing and has a long and fairly difficult quest to acquire.

It is desirable for the worn over-haste. An item that gives 17% haste over the haste cap with no clickies and that can't be debuffed makes it one of the best items in the game. The illusion is just an illusion. The point is for you to have to make a choice. Look cooler or do a small amount of extra damage with IMO the worst illusion in the game. It has been one of the best items in the game for years and I think it is perfect the way it is.

Understood maybe we could add a double buff one of worn effect one of illusion? to click off illusion but keep worn buff non stackable of course. I just love the illusion but also like the little dps boost on other haha

Not a request just a mere suggestion as i love both. Can say no ill be happy can say yes ill be happy just 2 very lovable items id love to combine / merge to be able use both. Kinda why i even suggested the secondary buff for added benefits just so i could rock the one illusion perm as i love it. But will drop the one i love for the little extra dps boost just hate invis man.

It is an amazing illusion! I think it would be great to have a worn effect...but hey it is good as it is. One effect might be a chance to rise from the dead....
