Has a cold foci on it, that doesn't make much sense. Was wondering if this was an oversight?

Which makes it make even less sense, if it's only for a spell you have to do LDoN's to get, and you don't wear it long anyways. Lol

It'd be an oversight to not have cold foci for mages given they get a cold nuke. It's arguably the best nuke prior to rk. I spells. It makes sense to have cold focus on a Kael mage item, as access to both ldons and Kael opens at the same progression stage for players. The bracer complements ldons nicely.

Is there a focus you feel is missing on this set?

Well, 3 points. 1) The wizard bracer doesn't even have a cold foci on it. 2) The Necro bracer doesn't either. 3) Why a single use foci on an item that's so quickly replaced? The other caster items have mana preservation on them which is universally more useful than a foci that'll be replaced (with diligence) long before acquisition of the 1 spell it's intended for.

1) The wizard gets frost on the sandles
2) Why would a necromancer need frost?
3) I don't understand the purpose of questioning why anything exists on an item you perceive as "so quick to replace". By that rationale, why have anything on it?

Yes, the other casters have guardian preservation on the bracers. But the mage gets this:

A piece of trivia: The mage circlet is the only one of the four Kael caster head items to have a focus. The other three only have faerune. Looks to me that this decision was the opposite of an "oversight"

As I asked, what focus do you feel is missing, any suggestions which items could be changed? Happy to look at changes to clean up and enhance content (because some gaps are probable) but for that we'd need some idea of what it is you think needs to change.

It's just odd that's the only mage item (Kael level, and Mage specific) that has a cold foci on it, specifically for 1 spell. It may not be an oversight, and may not need looked into. But from an observation standpoint, it just doesn't make sense. Most caster foci's are pretty standard, where every class has access to every casting "foci." Since nearly all caster gear is standard MAG/ENC/NEC/WIZ usable, and isn't class specific. Exceptions being what, Vex Thal armor? And like I said, a mana preservation would make tremendous more sense across the board, than a single application foci.
And the reason it exists on a Kael level item, when by due diligence would be upgraded long before you ever received the spell it was intended for doesn't make sense. Maybe it's just me, I don't know. It would make more sense for the mana pres. to go back on the bracer, and the magic foci/Faerune going back on the circlet (as is pretty standard?). But again, this isn't my vision, just offering a different view.
